"CONSTITUIÇÃO DA REPÚBLICA PORTUGUESA"

This edition of the Constitution of the Portuguese Republic aims to be a faithful reproduction of the original text, intending to be simultaneously a tribute to the April Revolution that opened the doors of freedom in Portugal and an alert to the dangers that this same freedom faces in the current political context.

The main intention of this publication is to honor the Carnation Revolution that was at the origin of this document, also marking its 50th anniversary with 50 unpublished images, in a special commemorative edition.
